BBC School Report

On Thursday 11th March 2010 students from Year 8 at Shepshed High School will once again be taking part in the BBC School Report News Day.
Our BBC School Report day will link in with Shepshed High School's Cross Curricular Day which has an international theme and we are hoping to be able to link with a school in France and interview some of their pupils.
This is the 4th year our school have taken part in this event and we are one of only 57 schools to have taken part every year.
We will be holding a practice day on 4th March 2010 which will be available to listen to using the link to Shepshed High School Radio Station.
On last year's BBC School Report day our students were interviewed by Radio Leicester and the interviews broadcast on the air, the last interview can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/leicester/school_report/. The BBC also took one of the students' stories about pink florescent lighting showing up teenage spots and published it on their website.
