Friends of SHS
Friends of Shepshed High School
The Parent Staff Association at Shepshed High School is known as The Friends of Shepshed High School.
All parents, together with Governors, staff, students and supporters of the school are members of "The Friends of Shepshed High School". Each year a committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting. All members are invited to meetings, which are held monthly to plan events and ways of assisting the school by:-
- Fund-raising
- Raising issues of student welfare and the curriculum and organising Information Evenings
- Helping with social, artistic and sporting activities
Meetings take place at the school once a month during term time for about 1½ hours and the dates of the meetings are published in the School Calender.
