ICT

The basic skills of Information and Communication Technology (eg word processing, spreadsheets, databases, sensing, data logging and control) are taught to all students from Year 6 to 9.

The school uses carefully prepared teaching units as the basis of the course.  These units are taught by Humanities teachers in Years 6 and 7.  In Years 8 and 9 the units are taught as a block of work within the Modules structure.  A further optional unit is taught within Year 9 Key Skills.

The school has a wealth of ICT equipment to supports students' ICT work.
